Choosing school software in Rajasthan

Choose around your institution’s board, language, financial records and working practices. A city name on a landing page is not proof of a good fit.

Bring RBSE or CBSE examples

Take a blank report-card format, attendance register and sample fee statement into the demo. Ask which fields and calculations are supported. Confirm any board-specific export or government-portal requirement independently; a generic ERP label does not establish that integration.

Check Hindi and English requirements

List the places where each language matters: names, notices, receipts, report cards and staff training. Test representative Unicode text, exports and printed output. Do not infer complete Hindi-interface support from a few translated labels.

Plan around the academic calendar

A new-year rollout may require opening balances and promotion records; a mid-year rollout must also reconcile existing attendance, results and communications. Agree a pilot group and acceptance checks before switching the whole institution.

Confirm implementation and support

Ask who imports the data, who trains staff and which channels are available for help. Confirm remote versus on-site work and any travel cost in the proposal. A vendor serving Rajasthan does not necessarily maintain an office in every city.

Use a realistic demonstration

GENVEB’s current focus is schools. Share your city, institution size and priority workflows so the walkthrough can identify both the fit and any remaining gaps. Coaching, college and university requirements receive their own scope assessment.
