Your institution owns its data. Genveb is the technology platform that processes it on your behalf — never the owner of it.
The institution owns all institutional data
All student, parent, staff and institutional data you enter or generate on Genveb belongs to your institution. Genveb does not claim ownership of it.
The institution controls access
Your institution decides who can access its data and at what level. Role-based access controls, administered by your institution, govern what each user can see and do.
Data remains under institution control
Your data stays scoped to your institution. You can request an export of your institutional data, and you can request its deletion, in line with the Terms of Service and applicable law.
Genveb processes data on your behalf
Genveb acts as a data processor: we store and process institutional data only to provide and improve the service for you, and only within the instructions set by your institution and these policies.
No personal data is used to train AI models without explicit consent.
